Molly West Crestwood Death, Obituary: Gone Too Soon
The Crestwood community is mourning the loss of Molly West (née Kaufman), who passed away today after a courageous battle with cancer. A distinguished honors graduate of Crestwood High School, Molly excelled as an athlete, earning all-star recognition in both field hockey and soccer. Beyond her accomplishments, she was remembered as a devoted friend and a beacon of kindness, whose presence brightened every room she entered.
Friends and classmates recall her warmth, humor, and generosity. From early school adventures to high school sporting events and dances, Molly’s energy and compassion left a lasting impression. Even as life carried her and her friends to different colleges—including her time at Cornell—and into adulthood, her enduring friendships remained a central part of her life.
Molly is survived by her loving husband, Brian, and their son, Logan; her father, George Kaufman; her sisters, Kaete and Gerianne; and her brother, Brian. Her family, friends, and the larger Crestwood community will remember her vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness.
