The Ottawa community, along with friends and family in Orléans, Russell, and Chesterville, grieves the passing of Robert Cole Sullivan, who died at 32. Cole was a dedicated husband, beloved son, cherished brother, and accomplished tradesman whose life left a meaningful impact on all who knew him.

Cole was celebrated professionally at Carlsbad Paving, where his exceptional work ethic, skill, and leadership earned him the MVP distinction. Colleagues recall his loyalty, teamwork, and the energy he brought to every project, making him not just a skilled tradesman but a valued friend.

Family was at the heart of Cole’s life. He shared a deep partnership with his wife, Kelsey McClymont, and was a devoted son to Bonnie Sproule and Shane Provost of Russell, and Rob and Laura Sullivan of Chesterville. He was also a loving brother to Stephanie Provost (Christopher Triemstra) and a proud uncle to Anthony, Aiden, and Jakob. His dedication and affection for his family were evident in all he did.

Friends and colleagues remember Cole for his warmth, generosity, and humor. He had the ability to brighten a room, offer support when needed, and bring joy to those around him. His legacy is reflected in the countless lives he touched.

A celebration of Cole’s life will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall, 1171 Smith Road, Navan, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where attendees are invited to share memories of his life, love, and laughter.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Cole Sullivan’s influence remains through his devotion to family, his professional excellence, and the warmth he shared with everyone around him. He will be remembered with love and admiration as a husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
