Jacob Alan Mahan Vehicle Crash Tippecanoe County, IN Death and Obituary: Rest In Peace
The Tippecanoe County community is grieving the untimely passing of Jacob “Jake” Alan Mahan, 27, who died in a single-vehicle accident early Monday. Deputies discovered Jake in a field near the crash site on State Road 26 East, shortly after the incident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Jake, a William Henry Harrison High School graduate, dedicated himself to his work as a glazier at Central Indiana Glass and to his family. Colleagues and neighbors remember him as dependable, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
Family members have shared their sorrow publicly. Sydney Mahan, his wife, spoke of the deep love and connection they shared, while his mother, Val Mahan, highlighted his generous and compassionate spirit. Jake leaves behind his wife, parents, and children: Charlotte, Jace, Jarrett, and Judson.
A visitation and funeral will be held Feb. 16-17 at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette. Though the community mourns his sudden loss, Jake’s life and legacy of love and commitment will be remembered by all who knew him.
